1/ Practise sport, yoga, meditation...
Whether you work with your body, your brain, or both, remember to take regular breaks. Pausing and stepping away helps you stay more productive over time by allowing you to refocus afterwards. This could be a jog during your lunch break, a meditation session before a meeting, or cycling to and from work to get some fresh air. The goal: listen to your body and mind. Well-being at work starts above all with your personal well-being.
Always remember to stay hydrated before, during, and after your workout. At Kusmi, we have a top tip: pop a tea bag into your insulated bottle. AquaFrutti or AquaRosa are perfect workout companions.

2/ Bring greenery into your workspace.
Impersonal, drab open-plan offices are hardly ideal for staying motivated and working in good spirits. Adding a few nice decorative touches is a great way to enjoy your workspace, make it your own, and feel comfortable. In addition to being decorative, certain plants are known to purify the air and help reduce stress levels. Our current favourites? Aloe vera, ivy, or the Chinese money plant (pilea). So grab your watering cans and boost your well-being at work.
Give a second life to your tea tin.
3/ Share moments with colleagues.
Sharing lunch, a tea break, or an afternoon snack creates warmth, strengthens social connections and team spirit, and fosters well-being at work. These are moments to catch up, chat about work, build relationships, and get to know one another better. So, embrace the Fika break, the ingenious Scandinavian tradition that enhances well-being at work. At Kusmi, Fika always calls for our organic Sweet Break infusion.

4/ Recharge with a cup of tea.
Make mugs, a kettle, and tea bags readily available for colleagues, clients, and partners. Unlike coffee (which acts as a stimulant), tea provides a gentler, longer-lasting boost. Released gradually into the body, theine is believed to enhance focus and memory. And if you choose green tea, you can enjoy its benefits: it is renowned as a natural stress reliever, rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. To make quality tea easily accessible at the office, Kusmi Tea has created a business offering (organic teas and herbal blends, biodegradable envelopes, preferential pricing, easily refillable dispensers...).
5/ Remind yourself that stress isn't necessarily bad.
It was quite a revelation when we came across her TED Talk! Psychologist Kelly McGonigal explains that it is not stress itself that causes deaths every year, but the way we view it. It is only when we see it as harmful and dangerous that it impacts our body and health. The solution: view the physical signs of stress (a racing heartbeat, sweating) as the body preparing to take on a new challenge! Yet another proof of the extraordinary power of our mind!
6/ Revolutionise your workstation.
We all know it: we spend far too much time sitting down, and a sedentary lifestyle is bad for our health. Exercise balls, ergonomic stools, standing desks, adjustable laptop stands… innovations are multiplying to help ease neck and back pain, all too common among desk workers. All that's left is to test out different set-ups to find the one that suits you best.

7/ Relax with an organic herbal tea or infusion.
These hot drinks (which can also be enjoyed iced in summer) harness the natural benefits of plants. Depending on what you wish to soothe, choose the herbal ingredient best suited to your needs. A heavy lunch that is difficult to digest? Turn to peppermint or verbena. Feeling stressed? Go brew an organic infusion with the fitting name Be Cool. A scratchy throat? Try lavender.
8/ Learn to switch off.
Checking your inbox in the middle of the night is out of the question! In the evenings and at weekends, set boundaries. To truly make the most of time with loved ones, disconnect from your professional life and cut down on screen time. If your boss isn't on the same page, remind them that the right to disconnect has been a legal requirement since 2016. To help you switch to aeroplane mode: treat yourself to our organic rooibos infusion, Feel Zen.

9/ Choose healthy, energising snacks.
To accompany your teas and herbal teas, steer clear of vending machines (often packed with fatty, sugary snacks) and opt instead for healthy, balanced, easy-to-digest treats: dried fruits, rice cakes, a banana, or even a Greek yoghurt.
10/ Always be on the lookout for new well-being ideas.
Well-being researchers regularly uncover new findings and share valuable advice, so keep an ear out for the latest recommendations. You can (also) set up a "well-being" suggestion box for your team, or appoint a "Chief Happiness Officer". Their mission? To improve working conditions and employee well-being.
