The recipe for Detox is both simple and sophisticated. Simple because it is made with natural ingredients offering gentle, pure flavours. Sophisticated because it harmoniously blends wellness botanicals with invigorating aromas, creating a beverage synonymous with both serenity and vitality. The richness of this blend is what makes it so original and unique in taste. But what exactly does it contain?
Quality ingredients: green tea, maté, lemon, lemongrass and rosehip
In search of the most refined base for Detox, Kusmi Tea chose to combine an excellent Chinese green tea with a Brazilian maté. Maté, you know, that plant that only grows in South America! It comes from a shrub belonging to the holly family, whose leaves are dried and ground to produce a delicious infusion. Then, to this green tea and maté blend, Kusmi adds a lovely dash of lemon as well as lemongrass: the potent fragrance of this herbaceous plant, also known as "fever grass", lends Detox its revitalising, energising notes. Finally, rosehip seeds round off the blend with their tangy sweetness. Did you know? The rosehip is the orange-red fruit of the wild dog rose. Perhaps that's easier to pronounce?
